ABOUT MY PLACE
I rented this apartment in 2012.
At the time I was working in a SPA inside a Hotel near the airport of Montreal.
This location was very good for me.
I had sold my car some time ago and the bus to bring me to my workplace was passing literally out of my house (at the other part of the street).
And the METRO / Subway Station of St. HENRI is just 10 minutes away by foot.

I find that the area of St. HENRI is really very "nostalgic" - I mean nostalgic with the old buildings and generally the atmosphere.
And I am very close to the canal - 5 minutes walking.
It is beautiful to walk by the canal - every season.
And it is always full of people.
Especially summertime.

Also, today the St. HENRI in Montreal is considered to be "the New Plateau".
Many artists and many members of the "cultural community of Montreal" live in St. HENRI now.
And that reflects somehow all over the area.
I would say that St. HENRI is really very "romantic".

My place is in the corner of NOTRE DAME STREET and YAMASKA STREET.
Yamaska Street - was a very small street.
Around 2014, the city of Montreal turned Yamaska Street to the first "Pizza Park of Montreal".
So, my front windows look at Notre Dame Street and my side windows look at the "Pizza Park of Montreal".
And from the other side of the park opened a very good Italian restaurant.
The Italian owner of the restaurant decorated the wall with an interesting mural.
And every summer they fill up the "Pizza Park of Montreal" with flowers.
And in the winter they put decorations for Christmas - and for Halloween and for Valentine's.
So, the entire area looks very nice.
And a very small food store opened literally next to my building.
The door of my building is actually right next to the small health food store.
And this particular health food store is from the community of St. HENRI.
And their prices are very reasonable.
This is very-very practical.
So, I really enjoy living here.

Going back to my apartment:
The apartment is nice and renovated from the inside.
But the building - by the outside - looks very bad.
The outside looks old and also is "leaning" a little bit - like the famous "leaning tower of Pisa".

When I first took this apartment in 2012, the landlord promised me to "fix the exterior of the building".
So, at the time I signed the contract and I moved in.
.
But he did not do it.
He could not renovate the outside for many reasons.
The main reason is that this building is attached to the neighboring building.
If he tries to do something in this building - might affect the other.
.
Honestly speaking, the exterior of the building was not a problem for me.
But in the year 2015, I started receiving clients at home.
And then, the "bad look of the building" became a big problem.
I had to explain to everybody about the "bad look of the building".
I had to explain and "apologise" to my clients.
.
Later I tried to find a better place and move.
BUT, meanwhile the rentals went sky-high.
So, for the moment I have to stay here - what can I do?

(If someone knows of a better place to suggest to me, with an affordable rental, then, I will be grateful.)

I always keep the interior very clean.
And I do everything possible for the comfort and the safety of my clients.
.
I keep the massage room always at 28 degrees Celsius / 82.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
All my clients feel very comfortable when they undress for the massage service.
And my massage table is heated too.
.
I clean and disinfect everything after every client.
Every client lays upon clean and hot cotton.
.
The shower is always available and clean towels will be given to my clients.

My client feels like royalty.
Everything is prepared for him.
.

I deeply apologize for the bad exterior look of the building.
But I can assure you that the interior is renovated and very clean and has everything for your time of leisure and relaxation.
I am really Very Sorry about the exterior.
I double assure you that I will do everything for you to forget the exterior look of the building at the time of your massage.
